Who we are
Our website address is: https://x-libris.xf-redux.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. (comments are usually disabled)
Details are emailed to the site administrator only. They are not shared.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. There are no third-party tracking cookies etc.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Data is used to see what pages are viewed by guests and information about browsers used etc. I can’t identify you from this information and it’s only used to see what sort of things are enjoyed the most and ensure that server capacity is OK.
Who we share your data with
Nobody. There are no facebook pixels or any other type of third-party tracking cookies etc. I hate signing onto facebook and having them know where I’ve been and I wouldn’t subject anyone else to that. This is a personal site operated as a hobby – no income is generated from it, so it really doesn’t matter if nobody visits, although I like to think other people enjoy it as much as I do.
How long we retain your data
Unless you’ve submitted a comment or sent a contact form your data will disappear when you clear cookies. Comments will remain unless you ask for them to be removed. Contact forms are emailed to me and it depends on when I delete the email. If you’re concerned, just let me know when you contact the site that you’d like the message deleted as soon as it’s read and I’ll do it. 🙂
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
