In my XF fanfic obsession I often lament the time it takes to collect parts of series or long stories from various sources, so the original plan was to wrangle some of those and make them more accessible. Whilst this was primarily established as an archive of consolidated series and novel-length stories, I’ve stumbled across some classic fan-art dustjackets while I’ve been trawling through the archives, and have a lot of my own done for favourite fics, so I’ll also post some of those despite them being shorter stories. Many of them are classic fics and well worth reading.
The site has been going for over a year now, and after a bit of a break due to too many real-life disasters I’m back posting. I’m currently trying to upload at least 3 fics a week, which is a far more manageable rate than the daily posts I was attempting as I got the site up and running. New titles are usually released Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
You can now view all ‘books’, listed alphabetically or newest to oldest in the menu at the top of the sidebar. There’s also a page listing all authors, and one explaining and listing genres. Improvement to navigation is an ongoing challenge.
Please feel free to suggest any stories or series you’d like to see here by using the contact form.
Thank you to everyone who helped me out by voting in the file format poll.
Each work has an ePub and pdf version. ePub files can be read using many phone or computer apps, or in some web browsers. I use the Calibre ebook program to store and convert fic, and I highly recommend it if you’re a fanfic hoarder. A txt or html version will normally also be available for the old skool among us.
Stories on archiveofourown.org or fanfiction.net won’t be archived here (unless authorised by the author). These sites have the ability to download the stories in various formats and will have the most up-to-date version. Consequently, with modern classics you’ll find that the dustjacket will link to the story at its existing location on AO3 or FF.net.
