After the fire destroyed the basement office, Mulder and Scully were split up and go separate ways. A year and a half later they meet again and Scully discovers a terrible secret about Mulder. Determined to rebuild their relationship, she must first face her main adversary: her ex-partner himself.

Angst-o-rama after the two agents are separated. Dr Scully has to rescue Mulder from himself. Sadly there's no smut in this one, just intense angst and DAL. I didn't realise this was on ff.net until I went to publish it, so you get a bonus source. 🙂
