This Hump Day PWP is brought to you by the letter C. I'm currently recovering from yesterday's regular cancer screening.

The good news is that I'm now over 7 years cancer free. The bad news (for me) is that I didn't have Fox Mulder to personally help me through it in the way Scully did in this fic. The worst news is that so many others haven't survived. Leyla's writing came from that perspective, and she will always live on in her stories, just as her name is now canon in The X-Files universe.
