Palm Springs: It's cold in DC, so a chance to investigate a case in Palm Springs is welcomed.

Outpatient: This is a short crossover of X-Files and ER. We all knew sooner or later, in their travels, that Mulder would end up in an emergency room in Chicago, right?

Impatient: They're back in Chicago.

Scully needs a vacation so Mulder fakes a case to take them to Palm Springs, but the fake case turns real. This is quite the fun story, where the UST/MSR alone could flood Palm Springs.

I've had one of those weeks where nothing goes to plan, and my brain has gone on strike, so I'm hoping I don't make a mess of this upload. I promised smut this week, and I'm determined to deliver.
