It’s New Year’s Eve, 1999. Mulder and Scully do what most people do on that auspicious occasion - they share a kiss - and since it marks the beginning of a new millenium, it’s going to be pretty amazing.
This fic was written before the episode aired, so it bears no resemblance to Millennium. Most notably, Mulder has two working arms and uses them to his best ability.
