What do you get when you cross The X-Files with Jane Eyre? You may chortle yourself into apoplexy as you find out.

The authors absolutely delight with this forsooth Victorian tale of a wealthy landholder and his -gasp- female assistant. Even the chapter titles were often enough to start me laughing.  This 19th-Century frolic did not disappoint. Although it's a parody of the writing style of the era, it's pure literary genius in its own right.

I believe the story may have fallen off the interwebs when IOHO went the way of an icepicked alien and that can't be allowed to happen.

Note: last minute change of release for today. I'd realised that I'd planned a theme week next week, so this one has been changed to be released today... Don't mind me...

OMG, I don't know what's wrong with me lately. I could have sworn I pressed "publish" on the internal link page. Ugh, this is so frustrating! Sorry. It's there now.
