It's not a valentine's day fic, but it is definitely a romance. This one starts near the end of Season 7, with some reflections back in time.

No sooner did my first lot of orphaned bats leave for creche, than I got a new, younger one to look after. Back to 5 feeds a day and insufficient sleep. I'm still trying to get some stuff done but the weariness takes over.
