Near-death experiences can have a strange effect on people.
A post-ep for the Pine Bluff Variant.
This story began its life as "Three" - An erotic adventure, told in three parts, but the muse never returned for parts two and three. Eventually Lydia made a few minor corrections and left it as is, with a new name and summary. Believe me, I know all about not being able to summons the right brain space to do what I want to do. Although I always want more of what Lydia has to give, the story isn't lacking.
I love a Mulder and Scully who are so easy with each other (in more ways than one ;). There's still an edge to the easiness until they succumb completely. PBV is a great episode in that it's ridiculous to think that Mulder could get away with keeping something from Scully. (Sure, CC, he really did manage to hide an undiagnosed brain disease as he ordered a tombstone with his mother's name misspelled delivered to the office. That totally happened. /s 😀 )
