Instead of posting a valentine's day story this year, this wonderful story is the equivalent of a valentine.
Mulder and Scully take time out to enjoy themselves and each other. JHJ has interwoven the Mulder/Scully bliss with the story of Cupid & Psyche. It's a Scully and Mulder that we rarely got to see, freed for a few hours from the weight of the world, allowing themselves some joy. They're so natural and comfortable together and it paints a beautiful picture of what could be, all while stimulating comparisons with the underlying myth.
There was an old cover for this, but the download is a little damaged.
