When did the rash, brash, solipsistic, arrogant Agent Mulder quit his ditching and bitching ways and morph into the attuned, sensitive, generous, still gorgeous guy who wooed and won Scully (a-gain) in the Revival? What if the giving started with a donation...

Darwin made a return from fanfic retirement with this epic story in 2018. It starts with a short story set  mid-Season 6, then follows canon until 3 of a Kind, where Mulder gets to be sensitive and manly at the same time, after which it jets off across the Pacific Ocean into its own universe.

It's a shame Darwin didn't know about the Elvis shop in Honolulu (it was there in 1991 when I was there but things may have changed by the end of the decade. 🙂 ). Mulder could have had fun there, but they managed to have plenty of fun in lots of other places so I have no complaints. There's a lovely mixture of angst, smut and fluff as Mulder and Scully try to work out their future. It's well worth a read or re-read.

THE PLUGIN UPDATE HAS BEEN ROLLED BACK YET AGAIN. Today's update attempt was worse. I'll have to get back to the developer. Thanks again for your patience.
