CW: This is a bit of a vague content warning for the tone of this story. Make sure you're in the frame of mind to tolerate pain. It's not endless pain, just a little chronic. 😉 It may also cause violent urges as you might want to slap them both upside the head for much of it.
While I'm fixing up Mulder in Jeopardy I'm being reminded of a lot of great Mulder!Torture stories, like this one. You'll find some killer angst in this series. Mulder and Scully aren't on the same page, then they find themselves not even in the same universe. It's a bleak existence when our agents no longer have each other. It's not an easy story, but worthwhile.
