What's left when words fail? Obligatory post-Orison fanfic as required by the union.
Happy Birthday, Scully & Darwin.
Although this isn't a birthday fic, in the 2000 publication Darwin concluded that Orison was set at around the date of Scully's Birthday, February 23. There may not be cupcakes and sparklers, but you won't be disappointed.
I have only linked to the version on AO3 as Darwin has taken the time to give it a little touch up. As she points out, it's also available on the Audio Fanfic Podcast, which I never have time to visit and discover how many other fics from here are also available there... I feel so inadequate...
