What if Charles wasn't meant to die in that plane crash? What if it wasn't his time to die and that's why he had the premonition. To get him off that plane. To save him. But the others...maybe it was their time.

This one is a slight departure (totally unintended pun), as it's not really fanfic. This is a screenplay written by Jeffrey Reddick as a potential X-Files episode. Whilst it was unfortunately never filmed as an episode, it was a brilliant premise rewritten by Jeffrey Reddick, James Wong and Glenn Morgan to become the first of the Final Departure movies.

It would have been nice to meet Charlie... IMHO Charlie was a character with immense potential, which grew exponentially the longer he didn't appear on the show.  I imagined him suddenly appearing out of nowhere as a key figure in the mythology or William arcs at the end, adding to my mountain of disappointments over missed opportunities when Season 11 came to an end. I know, it was my mistake to have expectations of well-considered plot.

Anyway, this one's already available in different formats on archive.org, so the link will take you there. Enjoy your flight.

THE PLUGIN UPDATE HAS BEEN ROLLED BACK YET AGAIN. Today's update attempt was worse. I'll have to get back to the developer. Thanks again for your patience.
