Scully is finding this Christmas particularly stressful until she takes matters into her own hands. (a little pun intended)

The Sisters in Smut, Exalted Queens of Lurid Fiction, Jacquie & Teresa, wrote this exceptional holiday-themed smutmonster. I hadn't planned to post this one yet, but since it's mentioned in tomorrow's 'He Wore a Fedora' I decided to post it today for reference. Just pretend it's Christmas in July.

One-Upmanship by TBishop & Jacquie LaVa

Includes the prequel: Dormi Con Mi Socio by TBishop: Translation is roughly 'I Slept With My Partner' or so I am told.

One-Upmanship: To keep a great relationship going requires imagination and creativity - and our erstwhile FBI agents become a little too successful for their own good...

This is pure, unabashed smut, with a little bit of story thrown in for good measure. These two magnificent authors pool their depravity in an effort to raise the bar with regards to smutfic.  While the premise of this fic may not be entirely realistic, it's a fun fantasy (until it's not) - I particularly love Jacquie LaVa for her willingness to go anywhere for the sake of a satisfying experience. This one garnered more smut tags than any other fic I've posted.

You might recognise Jacquie LaVa's work as originally being published under a different name.  Unfortunately she withdrew a lot of her fics when she began publishing her own novels. Only the stories she co-authored remained on gossamer , reassigned to this pen name. I'm hoping to contact her to beg her to be allowed to republish the ones she wrote alone when I have the time to dedicate to giving that special little project all I have. 🙂

Tantric by Jacquie LaVa & TBishop

"Honest to God, I meant to ease her into it; I never meant to blurt it out like that. You’d think, after seven years and countless bizarre cases, I would have learned my lesson. But I was so excited; so anxious to get my teeth into this one, I forgot to be diplomatic – forgot to use my head instead of my heart. I had spent the weekend going through all the files and the plethora of information I’d found, on the Web and in B. Dalton’s; I’d taken notes, collected documented testimonials from folks who had decided to talk about what they knew of this particular organization… by the time Scully hit the basement on Monday, I was so wired that she never had a chance.

Posing as my little wifey, and involving herself in what could be considered 'deviant sexual cultish situations…'”

This one has some delicious "keeping it real while undercover" smut in it.  I had a little trouble imagining Scully losing control to the extent she does, but I'm willing to forgive these writers this once; they're two of my all-time favourites. And like I say, OOC is perfectly acceptable when there's intense sex involved...  which is why I hate it when CC takes them out of character.
