A stakeout turns voyeuristic!
You can count on Mulder to lead them straight into temptation trouble. I do love seeing them try to cope in the most awkward of situations, and Ficlady has definitely done that with this little story.
Blizzard: Mulder and Scully are caught in a blizzard in the middle of nowhere without any shelter.
Transfers: Mulder becomes "possessed" and hurts Scully.

This was originally supposed to be a series but unfortunately only two stories were written. It's a shame because she set up a really interesting scenario that I'd have liked to have seen play out more.
There are lots of the favourite tropes here, despite this being written way back in 1996. If it helps with considering the content warning in "Transfers", the actions warned about are outside Mulder's control and more of an X-File.
I love stories that don't fit into standard tags, but it makes it hard to entice readers with promises of certain events. I've also left off tags so as not to give things away.
Halloween. A little exposed skin, tentative conversation, a bag of candy and a lesson in sharing. Even though Mulder and Scully don't have sexual intercourse, NoRomos will likely want to run screaming right about now.
I couldn't resist another Halloween fic. This is a classic Halloween offering in the stakeout genre, but I'm not sure whether it's a trick or a treat. 🙂 Hopefully it's not too chilly for cold showers at this time of year.

The Lone Gunmen go on a road trip this time, when they decide to tag along on a case they passed on to Mulder. Things were already awkward when they arrived the morning after...
I do like how the Gunmen just decided they wanted a piece of the action (no not that action) and followed along. There should be more of it.

Tomorrow is my 28th X-Files anniversary. ? I was hooked when the pilot episode first aired in Australia on 17 February 1994. Thankfully I recovered from the personality defect that caused me to spend the first 5 years of the show as a noromo, to enable me to now relish in the raw purity that is unencumbered Mulder-Scully sex during the pilot episode.
ScullyGolightly wrote ten stories in the series; each of them is a standalone and just a bit of harmless fun. Although it hasn't been added to since 2019, I do hope there are still some yet to be written that will appear at the series link one day without warning...

Khyber takes our agents to some original and unique places. He also gives the partners a fun and adventurous sex life without overdoing it, with a few short smutfics interspersed with the main stories. The angst is also tempered with the kind of off-the-cuff snark that Mulder likes to make, and Scully sometimes adopts, and all the ingredients are there for a very entertaining series.
This one's a little large for a story page, but the other usual options are available.
I don't know who made the original covers, but they were originally posted in Khyber's part of alanna.net, but I hadn't seen them at khyberfic.net (this could just be a wayback machine archive issue.) I also spent an entire day making one myself before I realised there were pre-existing covers, so I'm going to include that one here too. 😀

Yes, there’s lots of firm things in this, and soft luscious goodies, and all the deep cerulean pools one could ever hope to gaze into. That’s right, we wrote a romance … well, as close to a romance as you’ll probably ever get out of this bunch of non-romantics.
Actually, it’s more about sex and comedy than romance, but we honestly are trying to get Mulder and Scully together. They’re just … just … guess you’ll just have to read to find out.
There's no other story quite like this round robin written in 1995. I'm still laughing from just attempting to come up with a summary. There's not much more I can say that the authors haven't said above. If you like some fun, burlesque smut, read it NOW. Even if you've already read it.
Imagine that Phillip Padgett is still alive somewhere and typing out a life for Scully and her love, Mulder. Hence, Mulder might be able to see colors -- vivid, hot colors. And Scully might be a little feral. Phil does not make an appearance in this piece, though.
If you like a Scully who knows what she wants and goes get it, you should enjoy this feral Scully who's been taken for granted once too often...

More treats than tricks. More pocus than hocus. It's probably not surprising that Mr & Mrs Spooky enjoy halloween. This is a bit of a mixed bag of stories. The majority are first time fics. Most are refreshingly light on plot, but there's a case file in there too. There's a lot of light-hearted fun to enjoy in this batch.
It all seems to be over, but the Smoking Man has information that will change how Scully sees herself.

I'm not a huge fan of the chaos of post-col fics, but This one's an unusual one in that the aliens came and went and things are back to 'normal'. It's difficult to categorize. I've added a few tags but left off a few as well to keep the intrigue.
Scully and Mulder not only face a monster of a killer, but, even more horrible, must confront their own relationship.
This is another fic that came to mind for buried alive stories (see 34 Hours). In this one they're not deliberately buried though. So much glorious angst. And pissy, jealous Scully gives me life. 😀

The Complete Revelations Series
This series takes place during the first season of The X-Files, beginning the morning after the last scene in The Jersey Devil and ending prior to the Season One finale, The Erlenmeyer Flask.
The full series is split into three volumes, as follows:
VOLUME ONE:
1. REVELATIONS 1: DAWN
(This has been mislabelled as "Revelations" at the top of each volume) Let us return to the days of yesteryear when Scully's abduction, bounty hunters, clones and cancer are still far in the future. It's the morning after the Jersey Devil case, Scully is dismayed to be given a temporary reassignment while her new partner, Fox Mulder, does some work for VCS. Lots of FIRSTS in this one for these two. PG13 for some violence and occasional adult topics.
2. REVELATIONS 2: THE BOX
Still feeling the affects from a hellish case, Mulder and Scully are handed a little administrative task that develops into something both sinister and dangerous as a grumpy pair of agents are forced to endure each other's company under VERY confined conditions.

This is a truly epic series. It began as one relatively short story, which was then combined with another, and then the complete series was built around them. Sue often had multiple parts being written at once over the four years it took to complete. It all came together in the end, and due to the fact that only some parts are novel-length in their own right, it's hard to find the full series compiled in the one place. It's been split into three volumes for size, and since I found three covers so that worked out well.
This series is smut-lite. It has lots of UST and romance, but it's not explicit. That doesn't mean it's not good. 😉 According to Sue, "... the whole series is rated PG-13 for adult themes and some violence and a few bad words. The very last chapter (of Revelations 7) pushes the edges of PG13 all the way to 'R' but is suggested rather than graphic. " In this part of the world it would probably be given an MA-15+ rating overall.
Because of its length - the entire series is about 550,000 words - I've split the 8 parts over three volumes. If you're bandwidth-restricted, the ePub files are the smallest (each under 500kb), the PDF files are the largest (1.5 - 2mb each) and the txt files each hover around the 1mb mark. I've included a zip file of all three volumes with this one so if you're short on bandwidth you can download all three text files for just over 1mb and convert them to another format yourself if you want. Many of the stories can be read as stand-alones so you don't need to read the whole series at once.

This is my first attempt at an anthology of themed stories by different authors. There are eight "Tight Quarters" fics included, with each story having between 1500 and 5500 words. Let me know if you'd like more themed anthologies and if so feel free to make suggestions.

Smut. Drunken, wild, crazy smut. Dianora lets them loose in the office, at a renaissance fair, and on a pier by the lake, among other places. Not only that, but there's more fun to do with board games and the mile high club. What the story may lack in social value, it delivers in hot sexy times for this extremely dynamic and enthusiastic duo. The smut tags on this one rival those on One-Upmanship, You're welcome. 😀

Two amusing stories: A perp that gets away, and some naughty little forest critters who also get away (after getting a show from two agents on a stakeout and taking some of their clothes with them). There's also an accidental switch-flicking faux pas during a second stakeout fail, and Scully makes Mulder pay for a few faux pas of his own. That might not make sense but I'm tired.

What's a girl to do when she's trapped in the rubble with her partner and they're never going to be rescued? Then what's she supposed to do after they're miraculously rescued?
Mulder and Scully find themselves trapped in a phone booth in a foreign town...
This is a short PWP challenge-fic to make up for all the drama of the Alternative Season 8 I just posted. It may not be award winning literature, but Xenoprobe has to gets points for creativity in being able to get Moose and Squirrel indulging in the four-legged foxtrot for the first time in a phone booth.
I: All the other writers came up with serious, soul-searching post-“En Ami” fics. I wrote smut. Go figure. While watching that scene in the restaurant, I really wished Mulder could see Scully in that black dress…
II: Mulder takes Scully dress shopping to replace that little black number he burned in the incinerator in my last fic.
Mulder can show a bit of a jealous and territorial streak, but it rarely extends beyond some quality pouting. At the end of En Ami he took his pouting to a new level as he tried to deal with the hurt, fear and betrayal he felt over Scully's jaunt with Cancerman. I loved Mulder's intensity, and this angst has delivered many a delicious fic. Evielouise capitalised on the smut potential as she brought together a conciliatory Scully and a fuming Mulder for a smouldering first intimate encounter. She then continued with a little more Mulder territory marking in the followup.
