Note: Whilst this is an MSR overall, that's not its primary focus. This is dark and dirty... it features a very disillusioned Scully who is looking for reassurance elsewhere when she's not getting it from Mulder. No hearts and flowers here.

You know I like a side of angst, particularly when Mulder's being an ass in early season 6. This story documents an unconventional road trip with both Scully and Krycek feeling a little bitter over their circumstances.

Reading the headers had me smiling - Jeylan appears to share my opinions about a certain creator, but at least she turned this into a positive by writing this awesome story in response to her gripes. Just watch out for that crack in the fourth wall that Jeylan throws in.

Mulder and Scully need all the vacations they can get, even if they have to gatecrash the other's...

Mulder tries pushing Scully away to protect her. Scully doesn't give up that easily.

Neytirijade delights us with some MSR smut at the Gunmen's on New Years Eve.  There's a dash of Fowley angst, a pinch of idiotic Mulder, and a splash of self-medicating Scully all whipped up into a delicious coming together. 😉
