I live for some Jealous!Mulder. It may not be as far along the angst scale as I prefer, but Mulder skirts the edge of assholery as he tries to deal with his bitter jealousy. This story may also skirt the edge of schmaltz, but I'm sure that if Scully can forgive Mulder, a little mushiness can also be overlooked. Admittedly I probably have a much lower mush-tolerance than most people, I like to hurt. 😀

The Scully/Ethan sex is more elaborate than I prefer, but it usually only lasts a paragraph or two. It's not that detailed, I just don't like any details when it comes to 'others'. It's easy enough to skim through if that's not your bag either and there's enough M/S smut to eventually cleanse your mind of it too. 😀

This series is very different to the usual stuff I post here. Yes it is MSR, but it takes a few detours and includes a few other characters. It does end up in the right place though.

Romp should possibly have considered the name Rump due to their obvious fetish here, but I'm not going to kink-shame, just give you a bit of a heads up as to what you're getting into. There is a lot of humour in it.

In "Krycek's Game": "Scully felt something sickening in the pit of her stomach. Dear God, were there really men out there who had nothing better to do with their time than manufacture fake nude photos of her?"

OK, I'm not a man so Scully can't be talking about me, but it's true. ? Tragically I have nothing better to do with my time, so there are also a few extra images included in the PDF & ePub versions that I've put over on the hidden "Under the covers" page at x-trash. (The password is "smut"). You can use them to make your own calendar if you're so inclined. 😀

Seeing as I'm stuck in Tropical North Queensland for a while, I felt it only fitting that I bring you all along with me. This fic is set about 20km (13mi) south of where I am now. It's actually a tiny little village with about 4 streets, and no actual 'downtown' but obviously fictional liberties have been taken. I have included a few photos to give you a feel for it. I actually took some more of the beach itself on my last visit here but they were among the ones I accidentally deleted it seems.

Last time I stopped for Fish & Chips there there was a "Recent Crocodile Sighting" warning sign on entry to the beach. While Scully and William had a nice time on the beach, it's not quite that relaxing when you have to watch out for saltwater crocodiles and cassowaries, and it's also not wise to swim in the water without wearing a stinger-suit because of marine stingers. Typical Australia where everything is out to kill you. It really is a beautiful part of the world though with tropical rainforest coming right down to glorious white beaches, so I'll allow Dyann her artistic license. [SPOILER] I can see why Mulder would want to live there, although I think he might prefer the remoteness of north of the Daintree River, where I am now, where it's off the grid, and where clothing is just a nuisance half the year when it's pouring with rain and/or the humidity is so high that nothing dries, and there are vast tracts of rainforest between h0uses. 😉 You just have to put up with bad satellite internet 😀 [/SPOILER]

As far as the story goes, it's set after Mulder leaves at the beginning of Season 9 - it goes off into its own dimension shortly afterwards, so the further events of Season 9 and everything that follows have all just ceased to exist. I love fanfic. Don't worry about the Character Death warning, this is the X-Files 🙂

Tomorrow is my 28th X-Files anniversary. ? I was hooked when the pilot episode first aired in Australia on 17 February 1994. Thankfully I recovered from the personality defect that caused me to spend the first 5 years of the show as a noromo, to enable me to now relish in the raw purity that is unencumbered Mulder-Scully sex during the pilot episode.

ScullyGolightly wrote ten stories in the series; each of them is a standalone and just a bit of harmless fun. Although it hasn't been added to since 2019, I do hope there are still some yet to be written that will appear at the series link one day without warning...

It can get quite concerning MSR-wise at points, but you have to trust that they'll find a way. But I admit to being very glad that an epilogue was added...

I've managed to convert it to usable formats for us all to enjoy, so please enjoy this fabulous "Mulder and Scully fall apart without each other thanks to meddling Fowley" fic. Whilst our agents sometimes let their heads overrule their hearts, and their silent communication can fail, they know where they belong.

This follows the agents from their first meeting to the return of Scully after her abduction. And while this is Scully/Ethan, Ethan doesn't seem to be doing it for her once she starts on the X-Files.

Six years after the events of "Aubrey," Scully and Mulder revisit the Missouri town to confront old demons and lay new ones to rest.

Mountainphile takes us back to the town of Aubrey late in Season 7, where murders continue despite their solving the case way back in Season 2. She also manages to tie some mytharc-related Scully angst in, all while Mulder and Scully are attempting the navigate recent changes to their relationship. I'm in awe of authors who can write complex plotlines whilst keeping our heroes in character and tossing in some angsty sexytimes, and Mountainphile is definitely awesome. It's this clever use of the characters that I wish we'd seen more of on screen at the time in place of episodes like Fight Club. Whilst in canon the mytharc got out of control with as much as possible crammed into double- or triple-eps, I would have liked to have seen the occasional monster of the week eps include a little aspect of it here and there in the way Mountainphile's done it, rather than a massive dump of ever-changing overly-complex mytharc a few times each season. But that could just be me. 🙂

I was surprised to enjoy this one as much as I did given that it's a Scully/Other. The story sucks you in, and it's set during the time of Mulder's disillusionment in Season 5, a few months after The Red & The Black, when Mulder's trying to deliberately push Scully away. While Mulder's playing up his asshole side, Scully's still trying to come to terms with the whole cancer/chip/Emily thing, so it's understandable that she'd seek comfort with someone who's going through a similar ordeal. Mulder's attitude makes Scully gladly go off on her own, but I'm sure you can guess what happens once she arrives there and decides to take a week's vacation...
