Anyway, as with many, many, many X-Files episodes, it had plenty of plot holes and glitches to inspire fanfic, and Ginef originally took this on the angst route, before shoving them together on a case to sort things out.

They're in the UK again as they attempt to track down mysterious abductors and killers. In fact, after reading around 20 UK fics to decide which ones I'd post, the UK theme is going to carry over to next week so I hope you're enjoying the change in location. 😀

A series of post-eps and replacement episodes based on a slightly different interpretation of canon. The idea, I hope, is that you could actually watch the S7 episodes I list below in the order I have them, intersperse them with my 'new' episodes and post-eps, and you would have a somewhat different, but still coherent story arc.

There have been some minor changes in order--"Theef" and "First Person Shooter" have swapped, as have "Je Souhaite" and "Hollywood AD." "En Ami," "Chimera," ~~"Fight Club," and "Requiem"~~* have all disappeared and been replaced with new original episodes.

*These replacement stories never eventuated.

Like any season, there's going to be a few reruns.

Khyber has made a few changes to Season Seven and once again I'm bitterly disappointed that CC & co didn't add a few fanfic authors to their writing team to show them how it's done. He starts adding to S7 just after Millennium, then lets CC have his way for a while before kicking back in after Theef. A few old episodes have reruns along the way.

Just a warning that you may feel a little lost at one point but it will all make sense eventually.

Although this series was never completed there are no cliffhangers. The main storylines are wrapped up.

I haven't worked out yet whose artwork is used for the cover, but there was a cover for Weret-hekau on IOHO:

Some lighthearted fun with Mulder & Scully in Vegas written back in 1997. It's a round-robin fic so anything can happen. I always think it's fun to put our heroes in these ~~ridiculous~~ awkward situations to see how they cope.

OK, so I may have a thing about Naked!Mulder... Although I made this cover just before the Great Hard Drive Crash of 2021 so I can't entirely blame this fixation on my recent brain shutdown... I would have liked to have played with the original photoshop file a little longer but it no longer exists - I'm just lucky I'd already saved the cover with the fic so it didn't disappear forever like many of the covers I made at the time. I'm still eternally grateful that my fic collection lived on a separate hard drive. I'm also better at backing things up now 🙂

While on a case in Las Vegas, Mulder and Scully achieve some professional - and personal - goals. Basically, this is the way I would like to see the TV series end, then see future movies, etc. take off from this point.

There is no way I'm going to list all 50 summaries here. Angela creates her own little universe that continues to cross paths with season 6 & 7 canon, often as part of a bigger universe including some crossovers.

I'm stuck in the wet tropics for extra time, with the rain pouring down, and since I no longer have my daily bat-feeding chores I'm going to try to do some more uploads.

I had this fic playing in my car using text-t0-speech and I had to turn it off when it started making the cassowaries and crocodiles blush. There is some A-Grade smut in this one. Although this fic is a little mushy in places for my liking, that's purely my preference, and I know some of you will particularly enjoy this entire series. A few of the individual stories are still standouts in my view regardless of their marital or family status. 🙂

This is a fic I came across whilst I was searching for another story, and I'm very glad I did. I usually avoid established relationship fics because I like a bit of excitement, IYKWIM, but there's no lack of that with this pair, despite them being together almost 2 years at the time this is set.

There's the angst of Mulder and Scully both being in danger, then more angst when nobody would believe Scully had been kidnapped, thanks to some bruising left by Mulder. 😉 After Mulder is sidelined by the bureau, our agents have to each rely on their wits to get back to each other. A++++

I'm not the only one who was inspired to create something for this fic. MSRAfterDark did some drawings in collaboration with StoryByCorey. Thanks to tumblr's prudity I couldn't find them anymore. Meg has requested they not be posted outside tumblr, but I wanted you to be able to see them, and without being able to link to them my compromise was to post a tiny thumbnail with both.
