Not to be confused with another story of the same name, these stories feature a Season 2 Mulder and Scully, posing as a married couple on a cruise ship. I had a bit of a cruise ship binge lately, and there's still more to come...

The second fic features the whole Scully family in peril, as Scully takes Mulder there to recover after the first story.

UPDATE: I've now reuploaded this book with a third story that takes place straight after the other two.  I didn't realise that ImAStinker's fics were all part of the one universe, so there's also more before and after this volume.  I'll be re-releasing this one with the other two volumes of the Neon Universe stories.

Mulder & Scully, undercover as a couple on a honeymoon cruise. This story riffs off just about every fanfic cliche we could think of.  We did this on purpose, and hopefully it will be obvious we wouldn't have been able to write this if we didn't love fanfic enough to have read lots and lots of stories over the past few years.  It's also very long. We hope it's amusing enough to justify both of these things - it sure cracked us up!

This is the cruise fic to end all cruise fics. Actually, this could be the tropey fanfic to end all tropey fanfics.

The first time I read this story I think I was a little impatient to get to the RST, and completely missed so much of the journey. The UST goes well past any healthy person's frustration levels, but bear with it and just try to enjoy the wild ride.

While Mulder and Scully are undercover on a honeymoon cruise for couples who postponed their wedding 3 or more times, they're subjected to Julie from the Love Boat and the indignity of many couples seminars before accidentally getting married  and becoming living legends. I don't have enough tags to do this story justice, (although admittedly I left a couple off and I have to force myself to stop typing now so I don't spoil everything in it. ) It's also funny how prescient some of their humorous suggestions are. For those of us who love a good fanfic trope, this is the holy grail.

I do like the idea of Mulder & Scully stuck together on a cruise ship, so there may be a few more cruise ship investigations that I'll post.  For scientific comparison, of course 😉

This one's set in Season 4, not long after TFWID, and poor Scully's obsessing a little too much about not being a certain person's soul mate.

This story was originally a short post-Kitsunegari vignette. Then by request, Shalimar kept adding parts until it became this masterpiece.  One of the (multitude of) big plot holes of The X-Files that was never addressed by the 1013 writers was the fetus, created from Scully's egg, that Mulder discovered during the episode "Emily." Nor was the emotional fallout of that episode, and its startling revelations, on their partnership ever dealt with during the series.  "Five Years and One Night" addresses both of those issues, through the creation of an alternative universe that begins in the aftermath of "Kitsunegari", then takes off into its own complicated plot-line six months later, when Mulder arrives to disrupt the carefully reordered life that Scully has created for herself across the continent, away from him and the X-Files. An emotional tale, set in the exotic surroundings of Singapore.

I decided that I just had to post this story, but I'm happy to remove it on request.  I'm counting on the fact that it's 21 years old now and if Shalimar ever even thinks of the story any more, she'd be happy to know that it's still being enjoyed.  This is super-angsty Emily fallout fic, with loads of action including some wild and frenzied adult action. It's definitely a classic.

The Complete Revelations Series
This series takes place during the first season of The X-Files, beginning the morning after the last scene in The Jersey Devil and ending prior to the Season One finale,  The Erlenmeyer Flask.

The full series is split into three volumes, as follows:
VOLUME ONE:

If you haven't figured it out yet, MD1016 is one of my favourite authors, and possibly even the one who got me sucked in to the world of XF fanfic to begin with .  She combines the angst and UST and unleashes the smut in a way that I find most appealing.  This is a vacation fic set during the cancer arc, with all its tenderness, angst, love, and seasickness.

I'm getting closer to fixing everything, but there may still be temporary breakages as I'm still doing long-overduebackground stuff. Thanks for being patient.
